So.... I find out to late to really do anything that I will not be going to work. I decided to break my diet and drink two cans of Pepsi. I needed the fizz to buoy my floundering spirits. Yea.
Then my sister, Tahanney (who obviously didn't go to Chi-Town), and I watched Bride Wars. It wasn't great, but it was cute. Too predictable though.
I refused to trespass onto people's property and pick grape leaves with my mom. No sirrie. Besides, last year when she forced me to go with her I broke out into a rash. I used that as an excuse. Haha.
Oh, I had a third can of pop after the CAVS game. That was sad.



On a happier note, we got a new dog.
Jax is an about 6 months old (I think... He's a stray and we haven't taken him to the vet yet) South African Boerboel.

We always end up with interesting animals. I'm waiting for all of his quirks to emerge. Lol.
I've discovered that he's VERY emotional.
He saw a lil black girl crying in the backseat of a car and he started crying. No joke.
Lol.
He also loves to cuddle. I'm enjoying that. I'm also enjoying Bibwit's jealousy--because it makes him cuddle up too!
Bibwit mostly ignores me--unless he wants food, or a back scratch.

I can't wait to get Jax fixed though... he violated Bibwit's face. Twice. He also mounted him many times, and violated his side once.
Yea... at first Bibwit fought him off, now he's resigned. LOL.

I don't have any pics of Jax yet (my camera is being repaired atm).

Fox, on the other hand, just needs to leave anime alone. Morbid curiosity prompted me to watch their adaptation of Dragonball. Yea... it wasn't pretty. It was downright AWFUL! Awww... and now they're gonna butcher poor Cowboy Bebop! Keenu Reeves as Spike??? Come on now Fox! Is nothing sacred?!

Steven Speilberg got the rights to Ghost in the Shell. Although, I was hoping for the Wachowski Bros--considering that the anime provided a great deal of the inpiration for the Matrix trilogy. But whatev.

Leonardo DiCRAPio's production company got the rights to Akira.

I heard WETA is doing the conceptual art for the EVA series already. Woot.

Other anime's that are rumoured to become movies are Ninja Scroll, Metal Gear Solid (a game, I know), Full Metal Panic, Battle Angel, and Robotech. If you know of any others, let me know!

Acting Shakespeare is one giant disappointment. The teacher also assigns SO MUCH WORK outside of class. It's ridiculous.
Fitness--well, it a fitness class. Not much to say there. Grr.
Arab-Israeli Conflicts is awesome--but a TON of work. Lol.
Arts Management is okay... but also a TON of work. Useless, boring work.
The only class that I'm passionate about is my Jewelry making class--and to a lesser degree the conflicts one.

I hope next year is better.

Okies. So I'm working at Waldens the other day and this guy walks up to the register.
He's all, "I need to find a book, but I know you're not gunna wanna help me."
So I'm thinking, Hmmmm... What does he want me to look for. If its a Kama Sutra book then I'm going to vomit on him--until I vomit my internal organs. No, no. I've helped people in the "relationship section" before. I can do this. Even if I feel sorry for the person having sex with him.
This had nothing to do with looks mind you, cause he was an okay old dude. But he gave off that distinct asshole vibe.
Anywho, so I respond, "Um... Sir? I'm sorta here to do my job. I'll help you find whatever it is you are looking for if we have it in the store."
He looks pointedly at me and smugly says, "Well, I need to find a book about the evils of Islam."

Say whut? Aw hell to the no. This asshole did not just ask a Muslim to do his dirty work by shoving his head even farther up his own ass.
Okay, I'm uncomfortable by this point, but I'm not going to let the asshole see that.
I type in "evils of Islam" in to a keyword search, hoping nothing comes up. Nothing does. I don't try any other search engines, like I normally would.
"Well, well. It looks as though we don't have any titles of this nature. However, if you go to any other book store, you might want to try the FICTION SECTION."
I then proceed to explain to him that no religion is evil. I tell him of extremists twisting religion to suite their own goals. I then ask him if he thought Catholicism was evil.
He responded with a negative.
Then I went on a crusades shpeel. He didn't like that and so he stormed out of the store.
Thank God (yes, my heathen God) that my manager was in the back room the whole time.

Congrats to my friend Cassie! I wish her all the best and I'm rooting for her!

I soon began responding to your dry wit--once I saw that side of you, I liked you instantly. Your humor remains a constant source of entertainment for me. Ryan: I heard of you from Niccole and Katie. You seemed cool. Then you did the Gollum impression for me on the phone. That sealed the deal as far as I was concerned. Lol. I figured, without a car, what's the point--but I promised myself I'd get it this summer and I did. I didn't even crack the BMV book open until I was on my way to take the test.
I passed.
